Summer Lovin' at the Marina: Come Aboard and Check Out All This Cool Gear!

Whatever kind of boating experience strikes your fancy, we’re here to ensure you enjoy cooling off on Lake Okanagan with style.
Summer is back with a vengeance! With the first heat wave of the year already issued, it’s important to stay cool. The perfect way to do that, with style, is to spend a day out on Lake Okanagan – right in very our backyard!
Tell me more, tell me more, you say? Well, we can’t promise summer romance, but we do think you’ll like all the gear we have available for you to be cool for a day (or more) on the water.
Wakesurf & Wakeboard
Wakesurfing and wakeboarding have boomed in popularity over the years, lending revolutionary new ideas in wakeboarding boats (like the Mastercraft XT23, where you can make customizable waves at the press of a button). Be assured, our Kelowna wakeboard boat rentals are top-of-the-line!
These boats are perfect for taking a whole group of people out on the water (ours seat up to 16) – whether you have a whole neighborhood worth of kids to take turns hanging ten or simply your closest group of friends. Unlike ski boats, where fewer people on the boat make it easier to get a water skier out of the water, these tough boats will perform perfectly whether you’re cruising with a party of one or sixteen.
Bowrider
If you’re looking for just a classic boat to head out on the water with, a bowrider is your bet. They’re versatile, easy to handle, and extremely popular for boaters of all skill levels. This versatility also means there are options upon options to choose from – which is exactly what you get with Kelowna Marina boat rentals.
Whether you’re looking for a smaller boat that gives you the option to wakeboard without the heavy utility of a wakeboarding boat (try the Chaparral H20 19 Sport), a simply luxurious boat that has good handling for pulling water-skiers (try the Cobalt 220S), or the most comfortable boat ride of your life (try the Cobalt Yacht R7), there’s a bowrider for yacht-ever sort of day you want on the water.
Pontoon
Nothing says a relaxing day on the water like a pontoon boat. Often referred to as party boats, pontoons are excellent for hosting a big group of people in luxury. Some pontoons, like the Premier Pontoon Solaris 250, even offer rear-facing chaise lounge chairs – making it easy for big groups to talk and hang out together.
With spacious layouts and fashionable lounge seating, pontoons rentals make it easy to make a whole day cruising Lake Okanagan with friends and family to cool off and relax. Pack a picnic and some cool drinks for snacking and swimsuits to take a dip in the water yourself. Just remember to wear and reapply sunscreen if spending a lot of hours underneath the hot sun!
Jet Ski
If you’re looking for a little more zip and adrenaline for your time on the water, a jet ski might be right for you. Jet skis are small (seating 1-2 people) and highly maneuverable, making it easy to skim the waves and seek out all those hidden beaches surrounding Okanagan Lake. The simple controls also make it easy for anyone to operate. Make it easy to get up close and personal with the water with one of our jet ski rentals!
Kayaks & Paddleboards
On the other end of the spectrum, if you’re looking for something a little slower to deal with the low energy that comes from the heat, a Stand-Up Paddle Board (SUP) or kayak rental might be right for you! These one-person water toys are perfect for a quiet, leisurely coast along the water. Dip your fingers and toes into the water as you go, enjoying the peace of our scenic lake without all the boat engine noise.
We also offer early bird rates of $25 per hour for kayaks and paddleboards rented between 8-10 AM, which make these activities perfect for getting out on the water before the sun gets too hot in the sky. We’re also thrilled to offer boaters a free accessory with your boat rental if you’re renting for a full day or more! So, take advantage and start your summer off on the right wave.
